From Ottawa International Airport (at the South end of Ottawa)
 | the only way out of the airport is north, on the Airport Parkway toward Ottawa (runs parallel to Highway 16 on the small map above, left) |
| the Airport Parkway becomes Bronson Avenue in Ottawa - stay on it until you reach the intersection of Highway 417, just past the Golden Arches (McDonalds) |
| go under the bridge, and turn left on to 417 West |
| follow 417 West for about 15 miles; along the way, the sights include the golden Corel building on the right, and further along the Corel Center on the left |
| just past the Corel Center, exit to the right to Highway 7, Toronto and Carleton Place |
| having left civilization again, follow Highway 7 for another 15 miles or so until you reach Carleton Place |
| at the intersection of Highway 7 and 15, bear right into Carleton Place onto Franktown Road |
| Franktown Road becomes Moore Street |
| at the intersection of Moore and Lake Avenue (you can see Tim Horton's Donuts on the left as you approach) Moore becomes Bridge Street |
